Caitlyn Scherr

Visual and Performing Arts

Caitlyn is an artist with multiple talents.  From a young age, she loved to write short stories and poetry and began receiving awards for her art work at the age of 10.  From that, she moved into baking, photography and makeup artistry.  She has performed on both the Color Guard and SCGC Winter Guard circuit for five seasons and is accomplished in flag, sabre, rifle and dance.

She was the 2016 Captain of the Summit High School Color Guard and is a member of the National Art Honors Society.  She has competed in multiple O’More College of Design Art competitions with her high school, placing first in three events last year.  She helped design and paint props for the Summit High School Marching Band’s 2016 Show and donated her art work for a coloring sheet at the 2016 SHAC Art Walk.

Caitlyn’s love of both the visual and performing arts is evident in every activity in which she participates.  She is looking forward to becoming more active in the Spring Hill artist community in the coming years.
